FAQs

Some common questions we’ve received are answered below. If none of these address your question, please call or email our customer service and we’ll be glad to help you out.

How does it work?

New clients simply create an account and upload the native CAD drawing along with a PDF including the marked up changes that the client would like to incorporate. Our software automatically recognizes the changes and applies them to the underlying CAD drawing. The drawing is then automatically sent back to the client with the markups incorporated.

How accurate is the software?

Our software has a very high level of accuracy for most drawings. However, we are always working to improve and work out any limitations as they come up. Even if iterations are necessary, the time spent with coordination, supervision, reviews, and drafting itself is reduced to minutes.

How long does the process take?

Depending on whether the initial native CAD file is a single .dwg or if it is a etransmit .zip, the whole process generally takes 3-5 minutes before a download link with the final product is sent back to the client.

How much does it cost?

We are still in beta and testing phase and are not yet charging for this service. Feel free to use as much as you need!

What format do the markups need to be?

Markups should be in digital PDF for to ensure accuracy. All markup software is supported such as Acrobat or Bluebeam. Markups just need to be digital and not handwritten.

Is it confidential?

Yes, all drawings, markups, files, logos, project information, and everything else uploaded is confidential. We do not share any information and all files uploaded are deleted from our servers after the client has downloaded the results. If the process fails or has an error for any reason, we will ask the client if we can keep the input files in order to determine a fix for the problem.
